DirecTV Now Review

When it comes to streaming DirecTV NOW leans more towards a large entertainment selection than an extensive sports selection.

For its basic $35 package you get access to 12 channels that play sports.  Only 4 of those (ESPN, ESPN2, NBCSN, and Fox Sports Network) are completely dedicated to sports.  By upgrading packages you can get access to even more sports dedicated channels like the Tennis Channel, MLB channel, NHL Channel, NBC golf, NBA TV, and Big Ten Network to name a few.

While you will have coverage of most of the big games there are some important channels missing like the NFL network, beIN sports, and the stadium channel.

Football – You get access to ESPN, CBS, NBC, and FOX and most of their sister channels.  This will have you covered for almost ever college and nfl game.  The only thing missing is the NFL channel, NFL Red Zone, and perhaps the Stadium channel network.

Soccer – If you are a fan of any European leagues then DirecTV might not be best for you.  They leave out the 10 channels of beIN network as well as GOLTV and various Spanish and Portuguese channels.

Basketball – With the $50 package you will have NBA TV, ESPN, TNT, and ABC.  These channels will give you access to almost every NBA game.  For
